The Piney Branch Web Wizards club met on 10 Thursdays this Spring. We practiced sending e-mail, browsing the Web for information and games, and we talked about how the Web works best when pictures, words and other elements flow together to tell a story. Our first attempt at creating a Web story was Unseasonably Warm.

For our final project together, the class decided that we would create a Web magazine, with short stories and graphics about activities at the school, and in the world at large.

We hope you enjoy the work of these third through fifth graders at Piney Branch Elementary School in Takoma Park, Maryland. For most, it was their first sustained exposure to the Internet.
